When it comes to iPhone cases, leather is a classic and timeless choice. However, like any material, there are pros and cons to using a leather iPhone case. Let us help you explore both sides; positives and negatives of leather iPhone cases.
Pros:
Durability: Leather is a highly durable material that can withstand wear and tear. It is resistant to scratches, bumps, and cracks, making it an ideal choice for iPhone that will be used daily.
Style: Leather cases have a classic and stylish look that can change the appearance of your iPhone. They are available in a wide range of colors and designs, allowing you to choose one that matches your personal style.
Comfortable Grip: Leather cases offer a comfortable grip, which can help prevent accidental drops. The natural texture of leather provides a non-slip surface that makes it easier to hold your phone.
Protection: Leather cases provide excellent protection against damage. They are designed to absorb shock and prevent damage to your iPhone if dropped.
Cons:
Price: Leather iPhone cases are often more expensive than other types of phone cases. This is because leather is a premium material that requires more time and effort to produce.
Maintenance: Leather requires proper care and maintenance to keep it looking its best. This includes regular cleaning and conditioning to prevent it from drying out and cracking.
Limited Protection: While leather cases offer excellent protection against impact damage, they may not provide as much protection against other types of damage, such as water or dust.
In conclusion, a leather iPhone case is a stylish and durable option for protecting your phone. However, it may not be the best choice for everyone. Consider the pros and cons carefully before making a decision. Ultimately, the choice is yours, and it should be based on your personal preferences and needs.

That’s still a lot of money for a phone case and the durability in all environments (especially with liquid contact) is of importance to me. I’ve found my answer on the Apple Support page on how to take care of the cases which basically tells me from the care required that the silicon is more durable than the leather when it comes to all types of environments. I guess I could have deduced this based upon the Apple Watch sports bands versus leather bands for when it came to sweat etc.For my own personal usage, I am going to remain naked and if I was travelling where the environments were out of my control or in a group setting where others would handle my phone, I’ll probably pick up a deep navy blue silicon case For its versatility and grip. But for those who want a case on all the time, I handled the Baltic Blue leather case earlier today at a local Apple Store here in Aus and I have to say, it’s a really nice case - well built, beautiful colour, and would be my choice if I wasn’t keeping my phone naked most of the time. I think it will age well too. Enjoy guys!
